The Beginning — From the VERY Start
We grew up in Laguna Beach and went to the same schools, but we barely knew each other—Tessa was busy playing soccer and Andrew was probably avoiding PE.
Years later, we reconnected at Outside Lands in San Francisco. Thanks to overlapping friend groups, we spent the weekend dancing and laughing. From then on, we were pretty much inseparable, at least as friends. Andrew had a crush. And, Tessa pretended not to notice. It all changed on a Tahoe ski trip. Tessa, the only girl on a “boys ski weekend,” realized she might be there for more than just a day on the mountains.

Life as QT
Since then, we have moved from San Francisco to Carlsbad, San Diego. And, it’s been nonstop adventures. Tessa and Andrew rarely spend a quiet weekend at home. We are always looking for a good recipe, visiting favorite restaurants, spending days at the beach, or planning the next trip.

Tessa has made Andrew into a morning person and reality TV lover. And, Andrew has made Tessa into a more adventurous cook and record collector. Together, we make the perfect match. Tessa is always coming up with new ideas and planning their days and trips to a tee. While Andrew is always ready to execute, whether it is hopping on the bike or booking a flight.

QT Always — The Proposal
For once, Andrew planned the whole thing. Tessa thought she had her birthday trip to San Francisco all figured out, until Andrew tricked her into chasing fake seals in Tiburon and proposed overlooking the city where it all began. Her birthday brunch turned into a surprise engagement party with all our closest friends and family. Still unclear how Andrew pulled it off… but he promises the white lies ends there.

QT’s Look Ahead
Life keep us busy, but nothing excites us more than coming back to the VERY beginning, Laguna Beach, for a weekend with all of our favorite people.
